Racism, sexism, tomayto, tomahto, childhood leukemia, AIDS, potayto, potahto, unemployed, unrequited love, creamayto, creamahto, baldness, obesity, too layto, too lahto.

The very notion that allegedly civilized people are trying to measure the suffering of one versus another is nothing more than hoarding boards to build a soapbox a bit taller.

Exactly what store do you buy the yardstick that measures suffering? Oops! Should I have said meter-stick, so as not to offend the those on the planet that use the metric system? My bad! I considered Europeans and Canadians, which obviously makes me un-American. Everyone is discriminated against everyday! From the moment everyone looks in the mirror, if they can afford one, sorry folks on government aid, to the time they prepare to slumber and replay the day in their head while trying to break down mental film and find the chinks in their armor, be it skin tone, bumps in the sweater, bad breath, body fat percentage, the way they say their 'R''s, the car they drive, the job they have, the word they used in the wrong context, the wrong fork they used in the wrong order at dinner, the curse God placed on them from birth, the blessing Satan gave them from the womb,...it doesn't matter!

Suffering is suffering. The mere fact that one is measured against the other is merely people filling out the score card for who gets to bat last in the Coliseum against the lions. Why, if we have opposable thumbs, are we still nudging these marbles, with the goal of knocking other marbles out of the circle, with our noses?!

By and large, hell is applied by others,...evenly. It's weight is measured by the weight each person receiving it, gives it,...to themselves. Does it make life difficult? Yes! Absolutely! Is it difficult to rise above and make one's way regardless? No doubt! Nevertheless, it is suffering. Ultimately, a person's suffering, can only be measured by them-self, against them-self.

One may try to equate suffering in terms of loss of actual, physical life. Life is precious and should be considered as such. The amount of human carnage accumulated in the effort to "preserve" the so-called majority's way of life,...their "God given right", is abominable. But, I would submit to you, that at the termination of life, the suffering ends. What happens when the discrimination does not end the life, but perpetuates the hell? Sure, because we have all seen "Special Editions" of shows, read "Tales of Courage", and witnessed "Life Changing Events",
