I Need Me.
I feel like closing my door to others, for a moment.
While alone in-side, I want to tear off all my leaves
I don't want these old flowers any more
Bare to the stem and root.
I want to take off all the old shit
To allow the new me to blossom without distraction.
Once I rip all this old off of me
And a few fresh leaves grow,
I will open my door back up
And allow others back in
To help me see the need to clip and trim when necessary
When I'm not growing to my highest potential
And those dis-eased pieces are holding me back.
And I will share with them the beautiful flowers
That will soon blossom in my garden.
They will bring joy and abundance to us all
A colorful pleasure for all to see.
When my treasured new flowers grow.
Right now, I need me.
