Poetry: On love

by Robin Ragland

Created on: May 14, 2008

I've noticed that my view of you is limited to peeks and glances.
I can't look too long at your brightness,
It is blinding.
It's the same with my feelings for you,
I trickle them a little at a time to my heart
Anything more would overwhelm me.
Who knew that a lifetime of feeling would
Not prepare me for this Love?
And though I searched for this for
As long as I can remember
I could not have handled the intensity
Until now.
