PAIN
Pain is a lonely thing
It holds you in its grasp
For only you can feel your pain
And that you want to pass.
The night is long and lonely
Tears fall as you long to sleep
Depression settling like a blanket
As pain has settled deep within.
Longing for a pain free day
As tablets do not work
Struggling quietly through the day
Why won't it go away?
Loneliness is creeping in
No-one can help you through
Sadness, misery feeling pain
A vicious circle yet again!
