Poetry: Dark Poems

Darkness to Light

From the darkness came a light,
It chinked your armour, it was so bright,
You surfaced and felt so many sensations,
Confused and strong so full of revelations.

Your heart it soared as love filtered,
Two sisters, two loves your mind splintered,
Feelings stronger and feelings scattered,
Confusion reigned and left you shattered.

Heartbreaking, feelings sinking into darkness,
Your anger and hurt sending you into the madness,
The darkness held you no comfort, no escape,
As love was lurking within its lucid gates.

A bond, a thread and hands on your heart,
Two loves will pull you out of the dark,
Two loves one of the light and one of the darkness,
One true and one new will help you through.

Love is strong and a great weapon of power,
Holding you safe and strong forever,
Hold it close to your heart,
For you will find it will never part.
