It's not Hollywood, but if you have always dreamed of being a star, come to The Sierra Classic Theater, performing as a part of Mammoth Lakes Art Center since 2000. It is currently holding auditions for the Ed Graczyk play, Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean. Experience is not necessary to act in the show, however, if your role-playing is as fake as a toddler's tears, you might feel more comfortable relaxing as a member of the audience. The play will be presented July 24-August 10, 2008, and tickets are available online. Call or check the web site for more details about this and future shows.

With National Tourism Week running from May 10- May 18, 2008, celebrations will be booming. Tourists will flock to events like mosquitoes to water.
