First of all Offshore to me means, overseas and out of this Country. It means buying, selling and dealing with other business elsewhere. An example of off shoring is: Let's say you buy a computer and you don't know how to get it up and running and there is a phone number you can call to get information that is suppose to help you. You dial the number and a person from another Country picks up the phone. How frustrating is this? Because you cannot understand a word they are saying so you just hang up the phone. How many times has this happened to all of us? This is off shoring. Our jobs are being sent elsewhere because the labor is way cheaper.
Dealing with investments overseas, banking and client and vendor research seems to be the going thing at this time. Small businesses and Large or finding ways to make more money by sending their jobs overseas. They do not have to pay taxes and they pay very little wages to the workers.
Merchandising can benefit and prove difficult to the small business owners because it is already hard to get going. Research proves that if you can't make it in a yr or two then your business will fail. So by hiring off shore you may have a chance at making it. But by doing so our country is standing a chance of going down. As we speak on this topic we are in recession now.
Off shore development is happening all over the world. Telephone operators, technology and every type of job you can think of is being outsourced now. Cheaper pay and more money. While China is going down others or stepping up and grabbing their piece of the pie. Where will America be if this keeps going on?
I think that in order to keep or jobs in our companies we need to find ways to in source at home. If we could just open a small office in our own businesses and hire a staff that will work for less, because jobs are so hard to come by here I bet there are thousands that would be willing to due these small jobs at cheaper prices. So lets make room for other small jobs within our companies so that we will not have to outsource. Lets come up with other solutions to this problem and keep American jobs in America.
