A Bad Day in Review
Walking up the stairs to my apartment, I suddenly realized I had left my purse in my friend's car. I yelled to her as she drove off hoping she would stop, but it was to no avail. With no cell phone, no keys, and no money, I had no way of getting into my apartment. I thought I could crawl through an open window, if only there was one, but I normally keep all the windows closed when I leave. "Aha!" I yelled as I spotted, what looked to be, my bedroom window. I climbed the stairs to the second floor balcony and then did a spider-man walk across two windowsills and began lifting the window up a bit further in order to get inside. Flinging my left leg in through the window, the right one now dangling outside, I popped my head through. Directly in front of me stood a completely naked, older gentleman looking quite surprised as I lost my footing and fell out of the window and into a freshly trimmed bush two stories below.

Mr. Freeman had been ill for a few days and was just starting to feel normal again. He decided to take a shower to make him feel better; I've got to wash the sickness off these old bones of mine, he thought to himself as he walked into the bathroom, closing the door behind him. The air felt a bit stuffy in his apartment, so he cracked the bathroom window a bit, airing it out. He slowly began to undress, his arms and legs still sore from the flu. Fully naked, he turned the shower on and waited for the hot water to spill out of the showerhead. As he turned around he notice a leg inside the window and two seconds later, the head of a woman popped through. "What the hell?" yelled Mr. Freeman. The woman suddenly lost her footing and fell out of the window.

Looking out his window, Mrs. Howard spotted something odd. A woman was attempting to scale the front of an apartment building that was across the street from where she lived. She wasn't quite sure if this person was trying to break into one of the apartments, or if she just had a death wish. Instead of calling the police, she decided to watch her every move. The woman had stopped when she came to a window that was slightly open and proceeded to open it further. Mrs. Howard's eyes became widened as she watched her slowly lift her left leg through the window and her jaw dropped suddenly as the woman began to fall backwards, out of the window, landing in a bush below.

Sitting in our police cruiser while finishing some paper work, I observed a 1027 (suspicious person) scaling across an apartment building. "Do you see that Jim?" I had asked my long time partner on the force. "What?" he asked in reply.
"The person scaling the wall of that apartment building."
"Damn, that's one crazy son-of-a-bitch."
"Jim, put us out."
"43."
"43." the dispatcher repeated.
"Be out in the eleven-hundred block of Honeydale, southwest with a 1027."
"Clear, out in the eleven-hundred block of Honeydale, southwest with a 1027."
I exited the driver's side of the vehicle; I glanced up, noticing that the suspect had gotten one leg in a window. I then began to quicken my step, when suddenly the person in question fell out of the window, into some bushes. After checking out the suspect for any injuries and finding out the person was a woman, I was then able to handcuff her and place her under arrest for criminal trespassing.
