Let's face it. Its the year, 2008! One of the most fantastic trends in our late modern day era, is that virtually anything goes when it comes to styles and strutting your stuff while doing the catwalk! While this open-ended and boundriless acceptance for fashion trends, can lead to some rather wild and colorful styles within teen and tween communities, it also allows a great deal of creative intuitiveness and ingenuity to arise within society's generations of tomorrow. This flare for the unique and interest in the unusual when it comes to clothing, can, and rightly should, lead to modern day prom dress fashions that can literally seek to blow the socks off of the more traditional prom-dress of yesterday!

One thing virtually all teens have in common is that they lack financial security and fat wallets. Because their days are usually filled with endless hours of classes, after-school activities, and a plethora of social events, more often than not, available time gaps in which to fill working hours, are usually fairly scarce. This frequently leads to teens and tweens obtaining that infamous open-handed palm up in the air, as they relentlessly beg and plead with good old mom and dad for financial contributions and support. Therefore, when those warmer days begin to role around and flowers begin to bloom, most teens are caught between a rock and a hard place as they anticipate their nearly approaching proms. While they of course, have to be rocking all the hottest trends hitting the run ways here, there, and everywhere, they also are jailed by a limited budget and very little spending cash.

By coupling the diversified acceptance for rare and different fashions, with a limited budget, believe it or not, options, styles, and ideas for prom dresses can become not only quite limitless, but abundant! Back in the old days, more rigid fashions and trends would have restricted many teens and sent them into spastic episodes of early heart disease, thinking that if their prom dress did not mimic the flow, color, contour, and characteristics of their best friend, they would simply die a slow and embarrassing death. In today's shall we say, fairly unrestrictive times, however, where sheik, short, long, posh, ratty, less, or more are equally as fantastic and charismatic, teens are given the unique opportunity to find cheap and cost-effective ways to ensure they are top on the list for prom hotties.
