In todays society the number of bisexual women is steady rising. Many straight women have started to explore and see what it is like to be with another female.Recently studies have shown that 14 -16% of females betweem their late teens and early twenties have had one or more sexual encounter with another female. I'm not a female nor do I know what goes through the mind of a bisexual female. However I am writing this article because of a silly comment I heard. I was recently told by a female who was bisexual: "men are the main reason are bisexual or lesbians"While I was listening to this statement, I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I am an optimistic person and I was sad to learn that there are still people in this world who are as rude as she was. I am mainly writing this article in hopes I can change some females minds about that comment. Before I begin to say anything I would like to make clear I mean no disrespect to any females who read this. The truth is I feel any woman who says a man is the reason I am bisexual is making excuses. I can understand some females may have been hurt by men and that is sad. But the truth is a man cannot just do something that hurts you so bad to the point all of a sudden you like women. The truth is you had those feelings already and you just used men to hide it. As a child growing up I am sure females know what they like and do not like. I hope by reading this that you see I am not trying to disrespect any females who are bisexual or even lesbians, but all I am trying to do is to tell you be real with yourself. STOP BLAMING MEN FOR YOUR SEXUALITY. Now being a man who treats women well and shows them not all men are the same I it is an insult when I hear females make silly repulsive comments like these: Men are the main reason are bisexual or lesbians. Men play too many head games so I decided to be with a woman. Or the one I hear a lot it takes a woman to know what a woman wants. Now the last statement is true being a man I cannot say what a woman wants. That is ridiculous. I have been a a good man toward every woman I have encountered and never looked at a woman and thought "wow, she'd be a great new lesbian. However being a being a good man who treats women well, all I want is bisexual or lesbian women to do is re-think your views on this subject and re-evaluate you own lives, your respect for men and your over opinionated attitudes.
