Pulling and Tugging at that blouse, talking to a friend to get ahead of the line, I find cause too much stress when out shopping. So you have only a few days left and you haven't even begun to shop. Here is a step by step list of how you can make things easier for yourself.
Step One: Write a list with the names of each person you would like to buy a gift for.
Step two: Decide how much money you want to spend on that person and write it beside the name. (Going below the amount is ok, but do not go over, it will take away from your shopping spirit)
Step Three: Grab an empty backpack or large bag. You will need it to stash you gifts as you buy them.
Step Three: Get to the stores as early in the morning as possible, or as late as 10pm in the evening. I find these are the best times to shop, the sales are great and there are very few people on line. (Make sure you have several pens in your bag)
Step four: Cross each person off the list as you buy their gift. Remember to ask for gift boxes at each counter. This will help speed up the wrapping process and save you from looking for boxes later.
Step Five: Go to the nearest dollar store and buy some tape and wrapping paper.
Step Six: Reward your self once you have completed all of your shopping with a Holiday treat.
Step Six: Make a night of it, while you watch you're favorite TV show, wrap all the gifts. If you have children, ask your spouse to take the kids to the movies while you wrap the gifts.
Step Seven: Enjoy watching your family and friends as they un-wrap their gifts.
