The Maddening Musings Of My Mind Must Go

The maddening musings of my mind must go,
Enduring, existing, subsisting through you;
Emancipate me from this course full of woe.

Surrogate living yields all that I know,
Sustaining the eclipse of reality's view;
The maddening musings of my mind must go.

Fate deals your hand, so commences the show,
Old Maid flaunts her face and signals my cue;
Emancipate me from this course full of woe.

Confounded addiction to your life does grow,
The loneliest lonely, so old, yet, so new;
The maddening musings of my mind must go.

Unworthy am I, of such eloquent flow,
To be, not just one, but the other of two;
Emancipate me from this course full of woe.

Lament not the ache of this desolate soul,
Whose adversity outweighs the pleasures, too few;
The maddening musings of my mind must go.
Emancipate me from this course that I know.
