Nomen Sacrum
(Holy Name)
Love must be welded
to the thought
thought already exists
within love
this man, an archetype
of humanity,
has lived many souls
in waves that mold
there is only one name
and only one hope,
to it I cling my hands
with the desperation of
cross and sacrifice
an invisible soldier, an exhausted
hand, and this One Name
lifting my bones.
Maturity is fermentation
of the heart, its morphing
into a mirror of
Eternity
love stands defenseless
in front of giants and
Goliaths
Love doesn't resign just yet
it rises through leaves
and vines
light may be engulfed
into autumn,
weakness penetrating all
but Love endures and fights
many battles in the fabric
of Self
let the wait simplify terror
Love must be admonished
from silent bodies and
hidden plants
Love is forever.

Commentary:
Love is a state of mind. It must be a constant state of mind in order to survive within us. Love has a mind of its own; we let it take over our egotistic minds.
Human have existed for eons, in this and other galaxies; on this very Earth, always mutating, always learning, always forgetting and failing again. Each gene storing the information, as in countless re-incarnations, needed to improve.
All tribes have chosen a deity to adore; a name to follow; a Deliverer to wait for. Ours is the cross we desperately hold on to in troubling times. We create, through continual revelations, this invisible friend and give it a name.
Within strict cultural frames, we have accepted Ahura Mazda, Siddhartha Gautama, and Jesus Christ, as historical or mythical figures and names. They are the true Archetypes of the Avatar whom we dream to emulate.
With their One Name as formidable shield, we can conquer all, defeat all, and find Love. At the end of
our lives, when light fades and weakness reigns, we will only have Love to endure the path into transition. Oblivion, then, will not be a quandary, and fear will disappear into eternal silence.
Only Love will remain.
