1. Free my husband from corporate hell before his fortieth birthday.
I want to succeed in the world of finance, building wealth in order to give my husband the opportunity for a life worth living. I want him to wake up every morning looking forward to the day, thrilled with the potential life holds when one is free.
2. Be a role model for anyone wishing they deserved a life worth living.
For so long, I believed with all my heart that the mental health industry was right; I believed that there was something wrong with me, I believed in all the horrible names they called me. That misplaced belief blinded me, kept me trapped in the hell that was my teaching job. I did not believe that anyone could have a life worth living. All I saw around me was suffering, and I believed myself to be so horrible that I deserved to suffer. I wanted so badly to reject their lies, to believe that I am good and whole and right.
God intervened for me, and I was fired from my job. With the job gone, I could see clearly. I began building my financial strategies, and I saw that I had a way to success that did not involve the psychological self-mutilation that is employment. I saw that believing in myself and in the inherent evil and dishonesty of the mental health industry makes money, while believing in their lies loses money. They say, "You are bad and need to change, let us help you change..." But all they offer is guilt and hate. Their "help" consists of lessons in self-loathing, which only breed guilt, never success. No good can come of interacting with such demons. If I can inspire one person to reject the lies of the mental health industry and demand a life worth living, I will consider myself accomplished.
3. Take care of my pets and my plants to the best of my ability.
Even the simplest living creatures are miracles and deserve the best existence it is possible to provide for them.
4. Speak out in defense of those oppressed whenever the opportunity arises.
5. Prove that financial success isn't about fitting in, and vice versa.
"Work hard," they say. "Get an education, get a job, be nice, get along with everybody." But none of that is about making money, just about being miserable. The people who say those things hate seeing anyone be happy, and so they give the advice that will make you as miserable as they are if you make the mistake of taking it.
6. Live without amassing any more regrets.
I have never regretted
