Preventing your computer from getting infected by all kinds of attacks this days its not an easy thing to do ,the PC has many ports open for intrusion

HERE ARE SOME OF MY TIPS

1 - never open any unknown e-mail even if they mention your name on it

2- never download free programs from sites you don't even know (better not at all)

3 -if you need a program its better to buy it ,and even so check reviews if is known to contain spy ware some manufacturers install on their programs in order to build a database of users trends and sale the data base for millions

4- turn off your PC when done ,never leave it on hooked up to the Internet all night

5- be carefully when using Internet connections at hot spots ,this are open public networks and subject to attacks by some wise hackers ,who can take all your personal info and extract your identity info

6- don't let any one use your personal PC (this is a number one security measure so keep it in a safe place and with a BIOS password ( windows password security level is easy to hack)

7 -hot mail accounts are in my opinion very unsafe (its up to you)

downloading so called free programs like games , utilities , etc mirth contain spy ware and even viruses on their files ,once inside your hard drive they are designed to hide in some of your system files which makes it almost impossible to find and remove
attackers will load Trojans , spy ware ,ad ware ,malware remote controlled and all kind of spoofing crap ,computer programmers who build this bugs know the virus removal tools so they make this bugs with tricks to recreate them self's even after being removed

"SUFFER NO MORE "

I have the solution to that , the best thing you can do is freeze your hard drive
every time before you surf the net or just keep it on all the time , while surfing the net , once your hard drive its frozen no matter what gets in your computer will be gone after you restart your PC ,all files will be exactly as they were before ,why? cause your hard drive was frozen meaning nothing could stick to it , i mean nothing ,even if you downloaded 100 programs they be all gone at the time of restarting your system , i have this in my PC and i could care less what gets in to my PC it all be gone at the click of a button and my PC will be back to run like new ,freezing the hard drive will impede even installing some of your own desired programs it will keep the ones you have installed int ac but in order to install some new ones you must unfreeze your hard drive first , then install and back to freeze and protect again
some people find this a little tedious but try getting infected and you will find tedious and expensive , some viruses are design to reformat your hard drive and lose your data and the price of data recovery is very expensive ,sending files to an external drive file can import the virus then infecting the external drive also ,its my opinion , i don't feel very safe with all the virus protection programs ,plus they take to much speed of my Internet flow since they are constantly checking for updates on new virus threats and scanning my PC
