How to clean your house

For years now I have been working on a solution to keeping a cleaner house. Thousands of pounds of clutter were scattered throughout, and just thinking of it was dread. But when there is a will there is always a way.

Some people like the one clean sweep approach, but that doesn't work for me. That's why the take it easy solution is best for everybody. Not only does it reduce the stress of cleaning, it gives you a sense of fulfillment everyday of the week. With just focusing on the little things like sweeping mopping, and the doing dishes as they come are simple and relaxing. If you have a large household keep the small tasks for the little ones will the harder task for the bigger people. It makes things a lot less stressful if everyone has a job and everyone is expected to complete his or her tasks of the prescribed days.

Making a cleaning schedule not only keeps the house clean but also helps keep your home in better shape. You will find you will have more time for simple repairs, thus you wont have the added stress of thinking of your house literally falling to pieces.

For larger cleaning jobs like getting rid of unwanted clutter, focus on one room at a time. Remove all articles from that room, and sort through what you need and don't need. What can be thrown away, given away or recycled should be put into separate piles. All the sudden you will find your house thousands of pounds lighter and stress free.

Daunting tasks like the garage should be taken care of every couple months to ensure that massive cleanups are never again a problem. There is nothing worse then doing the same huge cleanup every year that can take a couple days to complete, when it very well could have been done with just 15 minutes of work per week.

Bathrooms, kitchens and bedrooms should be should be given daily attention, while larger rooms and yard work should be reserved a couple days a week. This can fluctuate depending on ones living situation.

Just as you think I am done, I will add that all it takes is a little organization and planning. But I guess if everyone was organized and well plannedthe self-help book industry would not exist.

Well that seems so simple that it should be easy to clean your own house, yet millions of people cant ever get the job done.

If time is a real constraint and you seem to not have it, you must be working lots. Therefore hire a maid service and live the high life or devote a simple 10 minutes a day towards cleaning your house it may be all that your house needs.

Keep it clean, I better get to work.
