Poetry: Rage

by Jose Trujillo

Created on: May 11, 2008

Get out of my face
I want you gone
how long can your miserable life
go on
I shake I tremble
You can see it in my eyes
You're bewilderment and confusion
Fills me with great surprise
I want to strike
While the iron is hot
Give you all this rage
That I've got

Remove yourself from this room
Before I beat you senseless with this broom
A hammer to the head what could it harm
An ashtray thrown at your head
Directed from my arm

A belt to the face
Big whoop di de doo
The day you were born
You will learn to rue
