Spring Showers.........
Soft warm droplets of falling rain
Touch gently on my face
Wash away the dusty film
Leaving clarity and grace
I watch raindrops soon uncover
The true color of the leaves
That have just begun to unfurl
From their budding sleeves
The daffodils a brilliant yellow
Glistening gloriously in springs shower
Announcing springs arrival
Announcing nature's power
I smell the familiar fragrance
Of this rain upon the earth
I stand still in quiet amazement
Of nature's brilliant rebirth
Spring showers how I've missed you
Your feel, your look, your smell
Others may run for cover
Within you I wish to dwell
