Plant them and they will grow,
bursting into a melodic flow,
a golden palette of shaded greens,
so nature's portrait can be seen.
A bitter sweet taste, of life's lie,
for as it is born it begins to die,
and wilt under the autumn's doom,
until spring it waits for tender bloom.
Where once again it reaches up,
its' leaf like a pursing cup,
drenching up the sun's gleam,
creating a magnificent sheen,
and as it begins to refrain,
The whole process starts again.
