No one ever said that growth was
going to be easy.
Do the seeds like
the feeling of
rapid expansion,
tearing seed coats,
a ripping away and bursting out,
a rooting down and
a springing up
to become?
Is there, as with us,
a feeling of unknowing?
We look at the beauty of spring,
the flowers;
the tender grasses,
and never wonder
about the feelings
of the seeds.
