Prom has hit the school and girls are running around town like crazed and excited princesses trying to find the perfect dress. The guys are slowly taking their time and not really preparing themselves for anything with the exception of a tux rental and a purchase of some condoms. What a night prom can be! No matter who you are you will never forget your prom night. Along with this night comes many different essential tips for a night like this. The one that is a focus in this article is going to be all about the emotions of this night.

Preparation for a dress is different for all Jill Promgirls. Some girls may need to emotionally prepare their speech to the parents to make it just manipulative enough and desperate enough to get them to agree on an expensive purchase for a one night dress. Other girls may be in the position of having their daddy's credit card and can purchase anything at any whim. Then you have the girls who really don't care what dress they get and these girls are very few, but they do exist and their parents are pleased to save on some financing for what could have been a very expensive dress choice. The tip here is no matter what the dress of choice is, it's the very "you" that will make this night beautiful.

The dress is purchased with relief and excitement at hand. The guy must find out or be told what the color scheme of this dress is so his tux can match just perfectly so. Some guys opt for something different then the average tux and can simply choose jeans and a shirt that will appease his date, or not.

The date is planned, the dress and tux purchased or rented and now the wait. Typically the rumor of prom night is for one to lose their virginity, but this is not the actual case with everyone. So Johnny Promguy and Jill Promgirl must keep that in mind so no pressure is constricting what can truly be a fun and memorable night.

It's here, the flash of the camera is going off non-stop by parents who may have tears in their eyes remembering their prom and remembering their child who once was just that, a child. "Come on Dad, stop with the pictures already!" says Johnny Promguy as his Dad proudly clicks away. Butterflies run through the girl's gut as she is hoping her date thinks she is absolutely beautiful. So guys, you must tell her that she looks beautiful, in your own way, because she worked long and hard to prepare herself to look good for you and for this special night. You will get some major brownie points for recognizing her beauty.

Now as the night arrives and the pictures have been taken don't forget to "dance!" There will be regret if you actually don't dance at least once. That's what the prom was originated for - dancing. Enjoy the night by not drinking the memories away with alcohol. Enjoy the night by not getting too caught up in petty head games. Enjoy the night by not giving away a part of yourself if you truly are not ready because once it's gone, it's gone.
