Is the world ready for a woman President of the United States of America the most powerful position in the world or is it going to be another man? Now which one of those sounds more historic to you? Of course it would be more historic to have Hillary Clinton win the election even though Obama is a black man he is still a man, the position has never been held by a woman and as a large number of the male population still feels that a woman is inferior when it comes to positions of power then for her to overcome that and become not only one of the most powerful woman in the world but the most powerful person in the world that would be the definition of historic.
Also Clinton would be the first person to ever serve as First Lady and President as well as being the first person to ever serve possibly sixteen years in the White House depending on if she was re-elected, that would also be historic something that Obama is not able to accomplish. When you think about all the problems that will face the next President, Iraq, Gas Prices, the Economy and Homeland security to name a few I think the world would be on its ear to see how a woman would handle it. Negotiations and talks with other world leaders especially men in the Middle East who consider woman inferior and should not be in a position of power would be historic to see how the other leaders would handle such talks with a woman. What changes would take place inside the White House with a woman at the helm? In a male dominated setting within the senate and surrounding political circles as well as that of the military a woman in charge would be a historic event to watch unfold, it is one thing to deal with a man of a different race but to see a woman in that position far exceeds the interests of what might happen with a man at that position.
I think a woman as a U.S. President would change the complete way politics are handled throughout the world when dealing with the U.S. Other leaders might be willing to test her, see how much they can get away with, let's face it gentlemen we've all had arguments with woman and how often do we come out on top? The black community has suffered prejudice for many years and the opportunity to have a black man running the country would be a credit to the way in which the black community has evolved over the last few years and are now some of the most important and intelligent businessmen and leaders in our communities and the first black American President would be historic I'm not denying that, but as historic as the first woman President I don't think so.
Electing the first woman President would open doors for woman all over the world to positions of high power and authority, doors which are still closed today, if you take a poll of how many African American males and how many woman are in positions of high power in the world you would find that the African American male would far exceed in numbers that of the female race in these positions. It would be historic in giving woman the opportunities to exceed in not only business but politics as well.
