Poetry: Panic

Alas
My mind's
In this panic
State
Every thought
Doused with
A disquietness
I cannot shake

Fear and worry
Mixed with
Trouble
Pours into
The whole
Of my
Being

Causing
My body
To succumb
To a
Jitteriness
Wild eyed
Animal state
