Mother's Day is an opportunity to honor all mothers.

1. Time with loved ones
The number one gift that mothers appreciate is time with their loved ones. There is no greater reward than to look into the eyes of your own children. Many families spend time together on Mother's Day, but you can extend the gift by giving your mother coupon to be redeemed later for a family dinner that the children cook, or a movie night, a breakfast buffet, or even a quiet evening shared.

2. Photos
Family photos are treasured for generations. Use this day that the family is all together to take an heirloom photo, at a photo studio, or in her home. 3. Travel

7. Time to tend herself
Your mother tended you and now it's payback time. A trip to a spa, a day at the beach, a gift certificate for a massage or haircut or pedicure. These gifts are especially appreciated if they are some luxury a mother might not indulge in without your prompting. Indulge your mom.
