Death accompanies us,
on our journey of life, never shy.
Sometimes it touches us,
comes close, but passes us right on by.
And then in the end, death embraces us all.
As away with death we fly, to recall, our fall.
Dying is death's call to us all.
No good crying, or trying not to die.
The face of death, is the heart of life.
The face of life, is the heart of death.
Let death, and life about face for you.
Find life after death, and death before life.
Death after life, and life before death.
Death above all else is life in disguise.
Disguised to cloak life, it's a surprise.
Leaving us to surmise, how time only flies.
It's just love giving life to life,
That allows death to give death to itself.
We know that death comes to us all.
Only because life came first.
And death becomes alive again,
as life leaves death again,
and love sighs its goodbyes.
Love is souls blood, keeps life living on.
Death is merely the shadow of life.
Death accompanies life,
like a black shadow of light's plight.
From the light in your soul, all alight.
Light that never goes out.
Light that is love's shining sight.
Death never lives, but to die once again.
And life as you, soul, is always a whole life.
Only the garments of human flesh die.
It's your face, that changes, never your heart.
Death gives you a new face every time.
But the heart of your soul remains.
Death has its own love, and love song,
but sings it all horribly wrong, to prolong.
And so death takes away,
the love on your face.
Only to add it, and place it, on top,
of the love still fully based in your heart.
