Assessing Barack Obama's chances for the 2008 Democratic primaries

To access the political future of Barack Obama's there is only scant information available due to his inexperience and lack of accomplishments. Currently more information has been presented in larger volume due to the political process of the Democratic selection for President of the United States.

One of the most important considerations of Obama's possible success has to be the fact that that Obama has shown us that he regards the presidency as second place to his own minister of the past twenty years. This is the result of his reluctance to denounce the Reverend Wright's outspoken slander of the United States of America. Obama's first try at attending to this embarrassment resulted in his denial of any knowledge for the past twenty years of these ideas that all have seen on the Trinity Church videos. One can only surmise that the office of the presidency is secondary to the mad preachings of Reverend Wright. Obama picked Reverend Wright over the possible missed chance to obtain this high office. This is very troubling and does not show good judgment or patriotism.

Senator Obama would obviously have to spend quite a bit of his first term in office as the president in on the job training. His lack of experience will make him an easy target for the persuasion by others for whatever their personal political and power gains. Meanwhile, we are living as a country in the midst of very fast changing history. Considering that we defeated Iraq twice in record time on the order of months it is not doubtful that hesitation or two many choices may be our undoing if attacked by our enemies. This is especially true in the executive branch.

Ordinarily the United States has had the balance of the Legislative branch of government, Congress, to fill in when we are in jeopardy. Unfortunately the current Congress is not capable of even having a good record of accomplishment over the last eight years. Due to this result of political and power plays by congress the country cannot hope for any capable response if the Executive branch does not quickly act. So Senator Obama, who wants to bring the troops home, will have to take the time, even after he finally decides to act, to muster the troops again, provide for their readiness and deploy them with proper logistics before action commences. This is not good when attacks take place in minutes, hours and days.

Because the economy is in good shape despite our fighting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq over
