Safe mode. The only time you should feel safe on your computer, hence the name. You can either start up in safe mode after a lost password. Or a way to suprise your sister (how did you get on my laptop without the password!?!). Either way if your computer has a deadly virus basically preventing you to install virus software to remove it as such. But beware that safe mode is only a way to fix things. Running in safe mode 24/7 isnt pretty looking as the pixils get bigger in safe mode to get better performance.

In most peoples cases the reason for safe mode is 50 - 50 with virus and password related problems but as such all the other reasons are that safe mode is simply a way for you to fix your careless pc mistakes even with hardware issues. and performance issues.

Such as if your graphics processor gets busted and you have no idea how to fix. Tapping F8 and F11 on startup seems like your only solution to the problem. After tapping them you should come to a screen that lists startup options other than safemode. Scroll past them and select your option either safemode with networking (internet) or without microsoft really knows how to make a quick easy solution with handling all the data that was originally built into the performance pcs. making it a real easy solution for almost all the problems to fix and/or matinence your pc (computer). After mastering the computer for some time i have figured out how to fix most internet, virus, performance issues of the pc with safemode and put the computer into a sort of tranquil state while i either overclock. or matinence it with virus software to make it more sturdy. People dont really understand how important safe mode for computers are because their used to the original memory stored on their pc without even knowing they have the best backup on the crappiest of computers. As new video games come out more issues come along.

And as everyone in the world gets their own computer more newbies come into the businuess to try to compete with other companys with quick service without doing matinence in safe mode and how it helps your computer rather than harm it. When you try to trust your computer never trust anything except in safe mode when you know everything wont fail. And will save you from hours of trial and error on your failing pice of crap you call a computer.

So with this knowlege it will save you alot. Most all of your computer spending money when you could fix up the computer you already have today and restore it for tomorrow.
