Don't Throw Stones
Our mother always told us
in the strictest of tones,
If you live in a glass house
then don't throw stones.
As a child I often would wonder,
Would I be struck by lightening and thunder?
If I should speak of someone out of turn,

I've tried to live by that rule,
Not to say anything that would be cruel.
Because our mother always told us
in the strictest of tones.
If you live in a glass house
then don't throw stones.
