House cleaning is one of those insurmountable tasks most people try to avoid at all cost. One of the first things you should do is design a realistic schedule for your house, and the amount of time each task takes to complete. Often people can accomplish this part quite easily, but still find themselves constantly behind on their house cleaning. Sometimes the problem is the structure of the schedule, but often time people have trouble following any house-cleaning schedule because they really don't want to do housework in the first place.
But, there are many ways to keep your house-cleaning schedule. Below is a list of tips that will definitely aid you in the process. We make excuses for not starting housecleaning, and excuses for not completing the job. But if you are one of them people who would like to stay on top of your housecleaning, you might want to start by restructuring your schedule, and find ways to follow through. How do you accomplish this?
1.Pick the best possible days to schedule your house cleaning. If you have the weekend off, do not schedule house cleaning on those days. Most people really want to relax and enjoy their days off. Chances are you won't fully keep your schedule.
2.Prepare your house-cleaning the day before you're actually going to start. You would sort laundry in individual laundry baskets-one basket for the whites, and one for the colors. So on the actually cleaning day, you can easily start your laundry before starting other house cleaning tasks.
3.Each day prior to your house cleaning days, try to put items away as soon as you're finished using them. Also, hang up your clothing when you take them off, and put your shoes in the closet each day.
4.Before heading out to work on your designate house-cleaning day, spray the bathroom sink, toilet, and bathtub with a Clorox disinfectant. Do the same for your kitchen counters. The ideal here is when you return home from work; those rooms will only take a few minutes to complete.
5.One of the best tips to keep to your house-cleaning schedule is to simplify each task, completing each one with the least amount of time possible. It is best to invest in time-saving techniques where your house cleaning is no longer drudgery.
Finally, you would keep to your schedule when you take each task, especially if they're bigger tasks like cleaning the oven or cleaning out the refrigerator, and break them down to small, easy to manage tasks. Changing your attitude and approach toward house cleaning will give you the motivation you need to stick to it.
