Ever since I lost you
I looked around for something to do
All my friends have settled down
And the rowdy ones moved out of town
Then I hear 'bout this little congregation
I thought they might be my salvation

We've got services every night
Lit by the glow of the neon light
There's no rules no reservations
There's no preacher and no donation
Our choir's just an old jukebox

Come down early, plan to stay late
We've got a custom you'll appreciate
Our communion's beer and barbeque
Then our ushers line up at the pews
It's offering time, get ready to chug
We don't pass the hat, we pass the jug!
