Did we come from the "Big Bang" or the "Big Man?" The interesting thing
about such a question is that the only people who are going to ask it
are ones who already believe one way or the other. Those who believe
in the "Big Bang" are going to make all sorts of arguments to support
their view. Likewise, those who believe in the "Big Man" are going to
use all sorts of arguments (as well as argue that we are not talking

about the "Big Man" we are talking about God) to support their view.

What is interesting to know is that neither of us ever saw the "Big
Bang" or the "Big Man" speaking the world in to existence. I for one grew
up under both umbrellas, that as a student in public education being
taught that it was the "Big Bang" that started life as we know it, and
that as a student in Sunday school being taught that God (or the "Big
Man") created the world in six literal days. What I discovered was that
those who believe either view have a bias which causes them to reason
one way or the other.

Yes, I too have a bias. I will admit it up front. I believe in the
Bible, and I believe that in Genesis 1 a day is a day. I know that makes
me look like a fool, I know that some solid Christians disagree with
me. But I hope you will allow me the chance to explain my self.

First of all, as I said before the belief (and it is a belief) that we
are the result of a cosmic accident ( or "Big Bang") indicates a bias
because no one was there millions of years ago to watch the big bang
occur. I know that they will start off any argument by saying that the evidence overwhelmingly points to Evolution (but they never list such facts). The problem is that nobody was there, not even to sell tickets, photograph it, or even
create artwork detailing the event. Even if the world came to being by
the process of Evolution, why did it have to start as the result of a big
bang? We only say that because that is what we are told to believe,
or is it because the Bible teaches in Genesis 1:1 that the earth
suddenly appeared? Mmmm, I wonder..

We were also taught to believe that the cave man beat his wife, dragged
her around every where he went and in his spare time drew paintings of
animals on his living room ( or cave) wall. Did you watch him do any
of that? My guess is probably not.

With that in mind, did you or any one you know see that dinosaur (or
dragon up until recent years) found underneath the ground with no skin or
flesh or even photographs
