Oh yes thats what we all wanted to hear,
The words of "I'm Popular" ringing threw your ears,
Silly groups thats how it all starts,
But the competition will literally tear you apart.
You have to look pretty and perfect every way,
You have to care what you wear every day.
You have to put others down to make yourself cool,
Even though the real truth about it, its really cruel.
Your so judgmental to every person you meet,
You want to be so skinny, you might just not eat.
Thats the popular that everyone thinks is so true.
Really the fact is thats not how I met you,
I didn't judge you in any way,
I didn't even let your wardrobe choices ruin my day,
I looked at you and just said hi,
It was not too hard Its not like you have to really try,
We started talking about anything and everything,
"So do you dance? Or do you sing?"
See this is the popularity everyone needs to know,
This is how your friendship will grow,
No judging no hating in any way,
Lucky for me I made a new friend today!
