Summer daze
Glistening, sparkling, shinning gleams of rays.
The best times are the summer days.
For I am young and I shall play.
Summer time is on its way.

I remember when i was young, the last day of school was one of my favorite times.
Making plans for the summer, sitting on the porch with my grandma, going to the

garden, playing school, yes school.., I could not wait for the last day of school,
so I could go home and play school.
I think it was because I wanted to be the teacher, writing on the chalk board,
grading papers, it was a time I looked forward to.
It has been a dear memory for me, thinking back to the times I played school with
my siblings and friends.
When I was about 10 years old, I had a playhouse, thats where we spent a lot of time
playing school, I used sheet-rock for chalk and the walls of my playhouse was my
chalk board.
I was so happy when my birthday rolled around, guess what I got for my birthday,
a chalk board and chalk, life didn't get much better, nothing could have made me
more pleased than I was that day.
Moms, Dads, Grandpas and Grandmas, if you want to do something special for that
little sweetheart buy her a chalk board and chalk, she will enjoy it all summer.
Its a great gift for passing to the next grade.
Add some papers with math, spelling, etc. , work that will be useful to her
when school starts back. Make her a special place to play school.
It will be a memory that she will embrace the rest of her life.
And maybe a sweet memory for you also. Its always a proud feeling to make a
little girl smile. Its priceless.
The little things in life can mean so much.
Heres a good idea, something special that goes with her chalk board.
1. a large plastic box 6.pencils
2. chalk 7.papers with school work to do
3. flash cards 8.coloring books
4. colors 9.glue stick
5.writing paper 10.construction paper
These are useful things when playing school, and the large plastic box can
be used to keep all her school supplies in.
Make that little girl happy, she will thank you for it.
And Mom, who knows maybe you would like to really make that little girl happy,
take an hour or so, sit and play school with her, make a great memory for the
both of you, maybe it will bring back some special memories for you mom.
