Global Hunger is something the world community should not shrug their shoulders at. Whos fault is it? Why do we have global hunger? It sure is amazing in this day and age to know that global hunger is such an issue. It seems to me that if the corporations that boast about their annual profits are responsible for poverty. Not able to look into the eyes of the one they create their wealth from. If it were not for the small person huge corporations would never exist. Global hunger is a travesty. Not only is it morally wrong it is politically wrong. Countless countries would rather spend their billions and billions of dollars on their war machine than on the people starving in their own country. In the United States the homeless population grows by the day but the government chooses to ignore them; seeing them as an infection on "The Normal Working Society". Who's responsibility is it to look after these people? In my eyes the entire world is responsible. This is after all one community. Regardless of Race Creed Religion sexual background. If a family cannot take care of its own then society itself is responsible for the so called INFECTION. Rather than look for a cure it is looked down on as JUST BEING LAZY.

What about the people who live in other countries that have no choice in whether they eat or not? Its because of the countries economy or how rich they are on the global market. Food is a right not a privelege. Every person on the planet deserves to live no matter what any government says. I guarantee if starvation were to infect our government leaders they would do everything in their power to make sure it was corrected. Since that is not the case nothing is ever done and probably will never be. What a sad and pathetic world we live in when our neighbors starve because of politics. Politics aside we are all humans and require sustenance in order to survive. Rich people poor people alike need to eat just like the ones sleeping on the street.What then are the politicians going to do to help out their people. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING. That is the policy that has withstood for centuries and will continue to be the policy in the centuries to follow. Whatever happened to the notion of brotherhood? I know I have more questions than answers. When these questions are answered maybe then the world community will acknowledge its problem.

Why doesn't the United Nations do anything about this? Our elected leaders should be held accountable for their lack of action. Rather than line their own pockets and make alliances they should concentrate on what the issue is in their own country. i wonder if any politician has ever felt the sting of being hungry. Or if their family has ever been without. I wonder if they did how would that affect the global hunger problem? Its simple the issue would not exist. Although they say they are trying to help its just a smoke screen in order to satisfy the populas and their opinions of them.
