"THE KEY"
O, the world changes and the young do too, facing all of Love's good and disappointments and the things that we go through. Sometimes there are no words and it's hard to face the day, but we go through life expecting the best as the tears get in our way. Then come the times when we really feel that Love will make amends, our hopes get high and then they drop for we've been fooled again. And so we go through life still desiring the very best, though we never get off the stage of kindly giving our hearts a rest. And so I say to you, 'What are you searching for? Here's a heart as true as life, but you think the world can offer you more.' But I am here and I must say within the writings of this page, that my heart was mistakenly given to a wrong time and age. For the world it knows is quite too modern for it to understand, the ways of Love we know today leave my heart with no elan. Though the Kings and Queens of long ago, and the writers and poets too, could relate with a heart such as mine, for they bellowed for one so true. And so I go through life, in hopes that I might find, a heart that should belong in an ancient myth, that could be as true as mine. For you see, my heart was made from clay and dirt that cover upon the earth, and long ago Dear God did come to give my heart it's birth. And so these words I leave with you and they are without discreet, the world will never offer you another heart like mine to meet. And when you have tasted all the fruits the world has to offer and it can offer you no more...
forever you will hold the key to my heart that will open to you it's door.
"FLAME AGAINST THE WIND"
Sometimes I stop and wonder how our hearts have been so strong, enduring all the things in life when our world went so wrong. And all the tears that we have shed that fell upon the ground, just you and I have felt the pain as they dropped without a sound. Though in their silence and sparkles gleamed that fell like peaceful rain, they did not fade without the sound as our hearts screamed out the pain. And through the years the ups and downs have come like things unknown, the quite moments in our lives when our souls felt all alone. But the time in life is here at last that promises better days, the hopes and dreams we hold still nigh that they don't fade away. And in all the words that I could say upon your heart to touch, in all the poets in the world could not say near as much. For here within my heart burns a flame against the wind, and if these dreams were to leave me now the flame would surely end. So keep with me as I with you these dreams so close within, until our hearts can one day be truly together again.
