Understanding the harmful effects of smoking

There are many facts written about smoking.I would like to highlight some very serious effects of health problems which hopefully will help smokers to think twice and quit smoking completely.

Seriously,smoking can stop oxygen from going to your brain causing brain cells to die.It can also cause bleeding in your brain.These lead to stroke.

Nicotine in tobacco causes the blood vessels in the heart to narrow..This makes the heart work harder resulting in high blood pressure.Smoking can block the blood vessels in the heart by causing blood clots to form in the inner in the inner walls of the blood vessels resulting in heart attacks.When this blood clots break and reach the brain,they cause stroke.

Smoking causes the narrowing of the blood vessels in the feet and hands.This occur over a shorter periods of time if you have diabetes or high blood pressure.It can result in tingling feeling of the hands and feet and difficulty in healing scratches and sores.

Tar from cigarette build up in your lungs,causing it to harden and making it harder to breathe.You can develop an on-going cough and over a period of time,your lung can develop cancer.

Smoking can also causes cancer to your vocal cords,resulting in hoarseness of voice,cough,pain and having blood in your spit.The chances of getting this cancer increases if drink alcohol.

You can get cancer of the mouth and throat if you are are a heavy smoker.You can have lumps,pain and bleeding around the mouth and throat area.It may become difficult to swallow.

Your pancreas is needed to produce digestive juices and control blood sugar level.The cancer to the pancreas can cause weight loss.

Smoking may causes difficulty in passing urine or blood in the urine it means you are having kidney cancer.

Breathing problem is also common to heavy smokers.Inability to exercise and frequent need for air is common to heavy smokers.

It is also known that smoking may cause eye problems leading to blindness.Loss of hearing is also related in a way to smoking.

For people who want to look young all the time watch out smoking can cause your skin to wrinkle and hair to Gray at a younger age.Smoking also makes your teeth yellow and gives you bad breath.You can also get gum disease.

If you are a non-smoker,be smart,don't start.If you are a smoker please quit for your health sake.Stay away from second hand smoke-this is breathing other people's smoke.That can also cause problems.
