Disjointed Harmony
Wet fire, flaming rain,
thoughts to drive a girl insane.
Fragile rocks fall from the sky,
landing with a mighty cry.
Silent noise creeps in the night,
an evil plan to make things right.
Black sunlight slams the day,
a body broken, a heart afraid.
Simple chaos all around,
search for sanity, can't be found.
Take me back to a time far away from here,
to a place that makes sense and is simple and clear.
Stop as you go along the road,
starts with a spark, ready to explode.
Lose as you win in every game,
realize life will never be the same.
Laugh as you cry at every pause,
leaves you thinking of every flaw.
Sink as you swim in the depths of the ocean,
treading on water but creating no motion.
Bring back the time of everything fun,
when things were simple and every battle won.
Complex simplicity distorts my vision,
reinvents my little known mission.
Thrilling boredom threatens each day,
search for a fascinating role to play.
Angry peace stalks its prey,
white and black with patches of grey.
Happy beginnings where the story ends,
it's over with no chance to make amends.
Take me to the end of it all,
where every moment freezes and falls.
Take me to where my path is clear,
where my mind is free of all my fear.

Tell Me Again What You Can't See
Across this land, hearts are hurting
Tempers flair and fires burning
Down all that we hold
Flying through the valley; looking down at life
How can I escape from envy, shame and strife
Take me to the ocean; set my heart

Lost in a sea of faces.
All alone in the crowd.

Though I scream out loud.
