Taking the time to review some new ideas and tips is important to succeed in your own homebased business. Many homebased business owners are working full time jobs, along with running their business full time as well. This is like having two full time jobs, and to stay current with the business means to follow up on the essentials to keep your business running sound and profitable. Let's look at some tips together. l. How many sales did you get on your website, or called into your 800 sales line? If they sales is not holding to the forecast you made for monthly sales of $5,000 per month, you need to find out why. Where are you getting your sales? What does it cost you for each sale? Can you run some advertising to other websites? 2. What products or services, are selling regularly? Do you have some products which sold in the beginning, but now are selling spotty? Why? Is it the product or do you need better selling and marketing ideas. When was the last time you sent a catalog of your products or services to your regular customers or former customers? Remember selling is a l2 months a year process,and you must continue to sell, using whatever sales methods and sales associates you have on hand. 3. When you get a potential customer, do you offer the new customer a large enough credit line, so you can sell her/him $5,000 or $l0,000 a month of your products? Be willing to ask for credit information so you can check it, and with the right customer, open a large enough, line of credit to open the credit door to a good selling relationship. 4.
