Jasper's Journeys is an addicting action game. The object of the game is to finish the levels. Each level ends when you find the blue dragon. Collect various objects along the way; these objects help you in your journey either by providing ammunition to allow you to defeat enemies or by shielding you from enemies' attempts to remove you from play.

The game play consists of collecting fruit increasing your ammunition and used to help you defeat enemies; shields to protect you from their shots; as well as gems and treasures. There are three gold spheres in each level. Finding the blue dragon completes the level.

There are other things to do with the treasures, but it would not be nice to give away all the game play secrets.

You move side to side with arrow keys controlling game player movement. The game is intriguing to see what waits beyond the edge of the screen. Game play extends in both directions and above (in the clouds) and below (underground). Passage may be blocked by locked doors and the key must be found and obtained in order to open the door to continue in that direction.

An enjoyable way to spend time for young and old! Dodge the boulder-tossing birds, the helmets warriors, and the wizard. Watch for retracting spikes in the ground that threaten to stab you if you cross at the wrong time. Look for spring board assistance in some flowers to help you reach higher heights.

Look for the inns to save your game and allow you to return to that point.

Play speed is moderate and the game itself is refreshingly fun to play!

GRAPHICS - The graphics are sharper if the game is not played in full screen mode on larger screens.

SOUND - The sound has background music with audio sound effects in the game. To turn off the music, it turns off the sound effects as well. Play volume cannot be adjusted within the game.

OBJECTS - The object of the game is to collect fruit (for energy), shields (protection), treasures, and globes (find three in each level). You complete a level by locating the blue dragon. There are other items such as potions to help you with the game and gems.

CONTROL - Control the movement by using the arrow keys, Z lets you jump, and X fires a shot in the direction you are facing. Rapid fire shots are possible, but remember to keep track of your ammo; it would not be good to run out.

RATING 5/5 for the game's charm and ability to have you lose all track of time while playing. Definitely a "must buy" game to play, get yours today!
