NBA team profile: 2007/2008 Phoenix Suns
OVERVIEW
The Phoenix Suns ended the 2006-2007 season knowing two things- If they had beaten the San Antonio Spurs they would have won the ring- and two, they might not ever beat the Spurs. Complauin all they want about the refs, or the forearm or anything else- fact remains that they cannot beat the Spurs. The Suns also have an issue with star-in-the-making Shawn Marion, the second budding superstar to want out of Phonix to run his own team, and the people upstairs did not want a repeat of that episode. So on Febuary 6th the Suns Acquired Shaquille O'Neal from the Miami Heat in exchange for Shawn Marion and Marcus Banks
