What You'll Get is Trouble
What he wants is what he gets,
But what he gets is trouble.
He wants to feel that high,
He smokes weed,
He wants all his cares to go away,
He drinks and drinks and drinks,
He wants a cool car,
He buys a thirty thousand dollar car,
Which by the way he can't afford,
He wants to go fast,
He gets tickets among tickets,
He doesn't want to pay them,
He gets a court date,
He doesn't want to go;
now there's a warrant out for his arrest.
What went wrong?
What happened?
Why did you choose to destroy your future?
So what now
You go to jail,
Have that on your record,
Lose your security clearance,
And you'll never get that back.
What will your family do?
Will they help you out?
Can they help you out?
Will you be the object of the destruction of your family?
Your mom wants to help,
But then she'll never retire.
Then, mom and dad would divorce; money's tight as it is
What did they ever do to you?
Besides, aren't you supposed to be the role model?
The one for your little brother and sister,
Their minds are so influenced by every little thing anyone does,
Especially you.
So, is getting what you want really worth getting into that much trouble over?
Think next time,
That maybe you can't always get what you want.

Poetry: Fixing the heart
I WOULD IF I COULD
If I could relieve your mind of the confusion that lies there...
I would.
Just to show you how much that
Shake away the sunshine in your hair
Blink away my reflection
Brush the paradise off your pillow
Unpause time
And please
Retreat
Windows
The shades of melancholy come up,
Light shines in through glass tinted windows,
The artist fustrations fixate into
I'm the world's loneliest baker
My heart (that tart) is in knead
Send me a basket of flours
And I'll claim you, to love and
I Don't Understand You, Honey
Today you give me a broad and massaging smile
Tomorrow you seem to me like we are meeting for
