Poetry: Christmas

by Russell Dawson

Created on: December 17, 2006   Last Updated: May 14, 2007

Music of the season,
Enlivens hopeful hearts.
Red-cheeked children rushing
Right into
Your arms.

Cherish each
Hour you're given,
Remember not your cares.
t'Is the season to remember
Someone else instead (who may
Thank you very kindly for a gift of
Meat or bread)
And so, giving or receiving,
Sharing shows believing.
