at a cool temperature, even in colder months, so bring a sweater if you have a long ride to your resort.
STYLE: Whether you like the Caribbean, the jungle, the American frontier, the Deep South, or any other specific region of the world, you'll get it in detail at a Disney resort.
Tip: If you happen to plan your vacation around a holiday, your resort PA will play holiday music, but in the style of the resort. Example: Christmas carols on Caribbean steel drums.
NOISE: Fireworks shows are big at Disney, and the resulting "booms" can be heard quite readily across the many lakes and open spaces. Also, even though it is Disney, please be aware that you'll be in close proximity to other families.
Tip #1: If you prefer quiet evenings, consider consulting the seasonal fireworks schedule and booking a resort away from one of the parks. Booking your vacation during a non-peak season is smart, too.
Tip #2: Even if you can't escape the fireworks or the peak seasons, you can still ask for a quiet section of the resort. The travel agent/cast member who is helping you should be able to find a room that is far from playground areas, swimming pools, and the resort's transportation hub. The earlier you book, the more likely your specific request will be granted.

Tip: Book your resort rooms and your main meals at the same time, and do it early!
Why: Book any big meals three to six months in advance, if not more. Using a meal as a starting point, you could then plan your daily activities in or around your restaurant's home park. If you know you will be visiting that park frequently, you could then book a nearby resort.
Example: Your family decides to have dinner at Coral Reef, which is in EPCOT. If you plan on spending most of your vacation time in EPCOT (for meals or any other reason), you might also book your rooms at nearby Caribbean Beach or Boardwalk Inn. If you're planning to travel in September or October, start booking in April or May.
== Transportation ==
With so much to see and do, you should plan how you are going to get from one spot to another.
