In a year when you would think Americans have every right to vote anything but republican, along comes a republican nominee who is close to being as much an independent as a republican. I'm surprised the democrats don't cry foul. Here they are playing by the so called rules, putting forth candidates who advocate strict party lines, and the republican nominee turns out to be someone who will put the country before the party.
John McCain is a man with the integrity and the tenacity to follow his heart. In contrast to Hillary Clinton who has the Clinton legacy to deal with which automatically diminishes her electability, and Barack Obama a freshman senator with virtually no experience domestic or international John McCain has decades of senatorial experiences along with his military record.
This country has been divide along party lines for far too long. The buzz word for this campaign all along has been change. The majority of Americans are in actuality moderates. They are not far left democrats. Nor are they far right Republicans. For years Have been hearing people call for a viable third party candidate who would be moderately middle of the road, a candidate who will really put the rights of the people and the country foremost in their decision making.
Integrity, such an important trait to possess. We know the baggage Hillary brings to the table. Anyone with a memory cannot forget the tumultuous eight years she already lived in the white house. The associations Barack has saddled himself with give a vast number of Americans reason to doubt whether he is fit at this time to be president and commander in chief. even around thirty percent of Hillary's supporters say they could not vote for him if he is the democratic nominee.
People are clamoring for a leader who will truly work for the good of the nation. One who will reach across the aisle to get things done. Most if not all members of both the legislative and executive branches are patriotic Americans who in their hearts want what is best for this country. Unfortunately, not all of them have the courage to consistently vote what is in their heart. If they do not have the best interest of their country first, that is a whole other matter. In that case they should not even be in office.
Integrity, such an important trait to possess. Anyone who has read John McCains' book " Pride of my father" will hane no doubts that this is a trait that was instilled in him at a very early age, one that he carries with him to this day. A trait that will guide his term as president.
