There is no doubt that a mental vibration as a dimension (astral) exists. Our mind can make many sojourns into experiences that take us out of the confines of our material bodies.

During dreams we use symbols that are resolving some of our emotional issues that our consciousness state can not deal with in a waking state. These dreams are used to resolve our emotional issues.

But there are also windows of time when a psychic (alpha) state exists. This is similar to the state of consciousness we use in meditation. We are at peace with our body and allow the mind to kind of wander into spheres and realms of existence beyond our earth experiences.

During meditation at the alpha state of consciousness we also travel in our mind. Due to the intent and purposes of some well tried and true techniques we do not remain in the astral level but progress to the spirit realms. In this place there are those who love us in the light and teach us spirituality in all things of the earth and spirit.

During these times the astral plane is open to our projection of the mind. It is uncomfortable and sometimes painful to push our mind through the portal to astral projection. And we can see and visit places on the earth plane where friends welcome us to project our thoughts. We can even be seen by those we visit.

There is also a non-corporeal existence in the astral level. This is the realm of those uneducated and sometimes stuck spirits make their home. They are there because they can not progress into light and love of spirit realms due to their own lack of spiritual understanding and awareness. This is the realm of those who cause trouble on both the earth plane and the astral existence for those that project into it.

It is important in understanding your astral projection to know how to protect yourself from non-corporeal existence. Those in this level do not have any love and light for those projecting there and see it as a game of how can we mislead and interfere in their existence.

The astral projection is very much a mental experience. We have a mental body for its use and projection of thought. The thoughts are real and form us to travel through earth plane places as well as non-material realms.

Many a new psychic will feel they have accomplished something by going into the astral plane. They feel it has something to teach them and they listen with rapt attention. In the end of this experience, they have gained little of real and valuable spiritual information and are led away from spirituality in most cases.

Those in the astral plane are not bad or evil. They are merely stuck and make sport of those who see them as some form of psychic adepts. When their reality is actually far less advanced than the seeker in the first place.
