Having sexual intercourse on a first date is down to personal choice. Both partners must have a say in the matter how far they want things to progress. If it is just casual sex you are looking for, then make that distinction clear- this goes out to both men and women. Leading a vulnerable person into intimacy on a whim, or taking advantage of feelings and the situation, is negligent and dangerous. On the other hand if you just keep it as just sex' then it can be fantastic!

Here is a thought to consider, when you plan your first date, do not organize it or yourself into an intimate situation where it may become difficult for you to say no. Do not test' your resolve in this way!

On the other hand if you do have sex on a first date, be prepared for the emotional awkwardness that may arrive afterwards. If he or she does not call you, this should not come as a big surprise. It is not only women that get the wrong impression but also men.

Women- would you really have respect for a man that only wants sex from you? That is like someone calling and asking for money just because you happen to have it. You are not obliged to give it out!

Men- if a woman is only after you for what you can provide' to her then where is your self-respect? I have seen too many men fall prey to this, both sexually and financially.

If you are going to have sex on the first date then go into it with your eyes wide open, make your choice and LIVE with whatever the consequences are.
