because she missed her plane. She was crying and yelling all at the same time. The flight attendant tried her best to calm the lady down, but her efforts were fruitless.
I got off the plane and proceed to US Airways customer service, where I waited my turn to speak to an agent. When it was my turn, the same lady from the plane, burst in front of me, still crying and complaining about how she missed her plane. Waa! I thought. I missed my plane too, but I am not crying like a baby. I had it with her. She was going to have to wait her turn like everybody else. I went up to the counter and started talking to the agent. The lady went bizerk and started yelling at me. "Oh, no she didn't". I thought. I gave her my special "look" as I was speaking .I told her that she was not the only person who missed her flight, and if she didn't want to have any more problems, she better get in line like everyone else. She buttoned up and stepped aside. If she had been polite, I might have let her go in front of me, but she did not deserve my kindness. The way Americans act in public, especially airports is horrendous. We all have the same anxiety about terrorist attacks, fear of flying and hate the process of going through security. It is what it is now, there is no going back to the old way of flying, the way things are. So, why not try to get through the ordeal of traveling with some kind of decorum.
I believe most Americans still believe in the American Dream. Unfortunately, some Americans are not willing to work for it. Americans who think it is okay to live off of food stamps indefinitely, commit crimes or are just mooching off of their parents do not deserve to live here. I am all about having quality of life. I am just opposed to doing so at the expense of my integrity or my future children.
I believe that all Americans have freedom of choice for themselves. I am tired of being subjected to frivolous laws, notions and politically correct ways of speaking that are being imposed upon me. For example, when I was growing up, I could dive off the high diving board at my local public pool, even if I was scared, I did it. It was so much fun. Now, high dive diving boards are being systematically removed from public pools because of the FEAR that someone will get hurt. Even thought statistically in the last thirty years, less than ten people have died from diving off the high dive. Another ridiculous trend is happening in playgrounds. Trees are being removed from playgrounds because
