I set a rose on your grave
I give you a loving letter I wrote
A card on this special day
I blow you a kiss
Hoping that you will know how much I love you
I wait for you to say something
Nothing
Not so much as a word is spoken
I know you tried so hard to just say something to me
To be able to say just a few words
A few sentences
To thank me for being there
Visiting you on this special day
On this day I remember
For you, I promise to keep on remembering
Thinking of what you would say
Thinking what you would do
On this special day I tell you
Happy Mother's Day!

A Mother's Love
When I was younger
I knew not the wonders of
Nor how much it is a blessing,

Put your feet up and relax,
The washing up's all taken care of,
The dishes are all in their

My Mother
Her beauty is undeniable
Her heart is undefinable
I wish I might be as good as she
I don't think it's possible for
Mother's touch,
I never would have believed
the depth of your love for me,
until having my own children
and embracing them tenderly.
