The 2008 BMW X6 rides like no other SUV, handles like no other SUV, and performs at the pumps like no other SUV. That is why it's creator's have labeled it the first ever SAV, or Sport Activity Vehicle. With it's xDrive all-wheel-drive system, dynamic performance and stability control, double wishbone front and lightweight multi-link integral rear suspension, an engine-speed-sensitive power steering unit, hill decent control, and 4-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes, the X6 is the beginning of an entire new line of automotive excellence. Not a suprising feat for this automotive guru, know to all as the exclusively elite Bavarian Motor Works, the innovators of automotive ingenuity.

The BMW X6 is in a class of it's own, part luxury coupe, part race car, part Sports Activity Vehicle. It is twin-turbo, direct injection, 300hp, 3.0-liter inline 6 power mated to a 6-speed tectonic with paddle shifters, giving the X6 0 to 60 acceleration in 6.5 seconds and an electronically controlled top speed of 150mph. All the speed and power you could ask for in an SAV. The X6 is also being made available with a 4.4-liter, 400hp V8. Both are All Wheel Drive, 4-door, action-packed, luxurious, BMW class automobiles.

For a hint at the interior luxury there is Nevada Leather upholstery, 10-way power adjustable seats with driver seat memory including steering wheel and exterior mirrors, split folding rear seats, rear seat center arm rest, and a power tilt/telescopic leather-wrapped multi-function sport steering wheel. The X6 also has a 2-way power glass moon roof with one-touch operation, automatic front climate control, park distance control front and rear, dynamic cruise control, and BMW's elite iDrive system with on-board computer/controller with 6 memory buttons. Four individual seats with front and rear DVD players makes this a first for front/rear comfort and ride-ability.

The anti-theft AM/FM stereo CD radio with Radio Data System has MP3 capabilities, 3-channel FM diversity antenna system, and 12 high-fidelity speakers which includes 2 subwoofers under the front seats and 7-channel digital amplifier with 205 watts of power. High-quality sound from the originators of high-quality, high-performance. This system is exactly what we have come to expect from anything displaying the BMW badge of superiority.

Outside the X6 offers 19" Star Spoke light alloy wheels with 255/50 all-season, run-flat tires, Xenon Adaptive headlights with auto-leveling, halogen free-form foglights, intermittent rain-sensing wipers with adjustable and vehicle-speed-sensitive intervals, chrome exhaust tips and BMW's classic metallic paint.
