In an era of increasing globalization and as a resistance to those who would like to bring the world to a primitive existence, it would be great to have a single currency. In fact a single global currency would work since it dismantles barriers to trade that the politicians and government have placed. A Single Global Currency would work in that products and commodities would be assesible for the consumer compared to the prices and taxes set in today's world with multiple currencies and value. A Single Global Currency would eliminate the need for Stock Exchanges setting prices in different currencies and promoting speculation. While there will be a need for Stock Exchanges, the people who trade and sell can set their own prices without the need of an intermediary.

Imagine being able to trade in on single global currency without the hassle of conversions of different denominations or extra taxes, tariffs, and restrictions set by governments. It is surreal that in the American Continent, there is no single currency while Europe [with its different cultures and languages even within their countries] are able to function with one Single Global Currency called the Euro. In fact, the Euro has more value than the United States Dollar with the exception of the Canadian Dollar, the Chinese Renminbi, the Swiss Franc, and the British Pound Sterling. Iran as well as other countries in the Middle East are slowly working on their version of a Single Global or Regional Currency within the Islamic World.

We cannot sit back and allow ourselves to commit economic suicide. We should unite with the rest of the American Continent and start taking the necessary steps to create a Union of the Americas with a Single Global Currency within the Americas and then go a step farther and work on the dream of a Single Global Currency which would ease trade for those in business and ease headaches for the consumers. Why should we allow ourselves to be divided with petty divisions such as ideologies and multiple currencies which have only resulted in wars, hardships, poverty, and misunderstandings? Why should we accentuate our differences when we have one thing in common which is belonging to the human race? In the human race, what is needed is less wars, less hardships, less poverty, less misunderstandings and the road to progress, understanding, peace, and an improvement in the economies of the world is the adoption of a single world currency.
